Mundus Vult Decepi

We have longed live in a world based on make-believe. When we look at modern societies throughout the ages, we do not see societies in search of truth and the real, but the false and unreal, in pursuit of happiness. This is why the Latin phrase “Mundus vult decipi, ergo decipiatur” was coined some 500 years ago. It translates as “The world wants to be deceived, so let it be deceived.”

As we look at modern man, we see his top priorities are bread and circuses, that is to be fed and entertained, and generally he takes a passive role in doing so. He relies on others for his food stuffs, dictating what he should and should not eat. He relies on others for his entertainment, dictating what he should and should not watch or listen to. He relies on others for information and knowledge, dictating what is true and what is not.

The “others” play an active role in creating a world that empowers themselves at the expense of others, like slave owners. This is done through poisoning minds by filling them with propaganda, ignorance, and arrogance; destroying people spiritually by promoting and having them partake in evil; and filling up their bodies with drugs and chemicals to keep them in a weak and vulnerable state.

As such, the way to lead a “healthy life” is to break from such a society and attack the foundation of lies it is built upon to cause its demise while building a separate system. Just as it is impossible to grow a healthy plant in toxic soil, it is impossible to grow a healthy human in a toxic society. And just as it is a mistake to just separate and hope the toxins in the soil don’t spread elsewhere, it is also a mistake to just separate and hope society’s toxins do not spread to you.
