Health Accounting

There are so many apps that promise you great health if you download and use them. I have tried many without much results as I found them too time-consuming to use and overly-complicated at times. Building healthy habits should be simple, but in the technological era, we have a tendency to over-complicate and try to measure everything. By setting goals and trying to measure everything within those goals, a lot of effort is expended, generally without the desired results, and we find ourselves in a never-ending loop. I know this because I have failed countless times.

So I decided to create the term “Health Accounting.” What is Health Accounting? Well, like an accountant records money that goes into and out of accounts, a health accountant records what goes into and onto bodies. The objective is to show you your daily exposure to various chemicals and phase them out for more natural and healthy substitutes.

I came up with this idea because as I was using all these apps, I thought to myself, “It would be really helpful if I could have someone record everything I expose myself to on a daily basis.” With such an accounting system, we unconceal everything in our environment and phase out things that may be harming us. That bottle of shampoo is no longer shampoo but 40 different chemicals. The ingredients were on the label the entire time, but we never bothered to look into their nature because it is time consuming.

My accounting system helped me to minimize my exposure to chemicals that I did not need to be exposed to and build long-lasting healthy habits. If you believe my system might work for you, contact me to set up a free 10-minute consultation to see if it’s a good fit.
